Rachana was born on April 4, 1983 in Thrissur. She started her career through Marimayam. Now Asif ali and Rachana joining for their upcomming project Youtoo Brotus.Rachana completed her schooling from GGHS Wadakanchery in 1998, and she completed her graduation from Sri Vyasa NSS College. She took dance classes before she was cast into the television series.She was a Communicative English teacher in Devamatha, a CBSE School situated in thrissur district.
